Thank you very much for the feedback! We're doing our best to improve the game!

(Image above is drawn by me. Yes, the girl has a phone hairclip. And no, she does not exist, take your meds, she's just the mascot for Pen and Phone.)
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE FEEDBACK EVERYONE!!!
And yup, I read all of your recommendations or suggestions for the game! And from the bottom of my heart, Thank you very much!!!
As of current, I have read multiple entries from all over the place! If you want to give me feedback and recommendations, you can answer the survey form by clicking this link
So, why am I asking for feedback in the first place?
By giving me feedback, you're helping me improve the game! How? Well, by reading your feedback, I can learn which features players enjoy, which ones they don't, and what they'd like to see more of. With that knowledge, I can figure out what needs to be fixed, added, or removed. That way, you’ll have a better experience, and I get to make the game even better!
For those who answered the survey
Since I cannot reply to you through the survey, I want to say Thank you very much for each and everyone of you, You have given me so many recommendations for the game
What will be added or changed for the next update
- The Intro and the current dialogues in the demo will be redone
- Many people felt that the story is too fast-paced and has multiple grammatical errors. That’s because I focused more on the mechanics than the story during the demo’s development. Since the story is built around the mechanics, it can feel a bit forced at times. In the next update, you can expect changes to the intro and some of the dialogue. I'll also be fixing the grammar by running every dialogue through Grammarly before coding it in the game.
- Added dialogues after waking up
- I'm also gonna add some dialogue for when Markus wakes up, (This is different from the mini events that happen when waking up) This will be clues on what to do next, Him taking inventory, etc...
- Changes for "Talk to Annie"
- I've read multiple suggestions about the 'Talk to Annie' mechanic—thank you so much for the feedback! For context, this feature was added because I didn't want players to be surprised or overwhelmed by dialogue every time they returned to Room 401 (Annie's room). It's meant to give players time to explore and bond with the other survivors without feeling rushed by the story.
Most of the time, 'Talk to Annie' is the only way to progress the main story, and the choices you make or items you show her will influence which ending you get. I plan to make some changes to the mechanic, such as optimizing it and removing a few early-game choices (which I’ll reintroduce later or only when relevant). I also plan to remove the 'I sit next to Annie' prompt, as some players have pointed out it feels too repetitive.

- Notes
- I'm going to improve the Notes feature and make it more useful in the next update. Instead of showing all the notes at once when you open it, you'll first be given a choice of what you want to view.
- First, there's 'Findings'—this section will show all the clues and discoveries related to investigations.
-
Next is 'Annie Notes'—this is actually the main reason the Notes feature was added. It was originally used in the story I drew about 8 years ago. (Yeah, my drawing skills back then weren’t great XD) (And yes, this is a little peek into the original story the game is based on, that’s Annie!)
- And lastly, there will be a 'To-Do List' so players can keep track of their current objectives in case they missed anything.

- Bug fixes
- There are a lot of bugs that will be fixed next update, like the corridor's BGM not replaying after killing a zombie, You can take Annie to Francheska's room, the opening doesn't play well on mobile device, etc...
- Other things
- There's also multiple things like, the improvement for maps (Greying out inaccessible places), I may darken the color of my characters to fit the theme, etc... and I might've also forgotten to include some changes as well (I'm currently at work right now, I have a hard time remembering at the moment)
ADDRESING SOME OTHER ISSUES
- The Images used for most backgrounds are AI generated
- I’m aware that there is AI-generated content in the game at the moment. This was only added due to the limited availability of free-for-commercial-use images that fit the game's theme. Currently, I’m reaching out to artists for commission prices so I can start saving up and gradually replace these images one by one. If you’d like to help when it comes to creating background images, feel free to contact me at: penandphone.message@gmail.com. Also, any AI elements in the game will be removed in the future updates, and will not be present at all for the final release
- The characters look too generic
- It is due to the fact that the character designs are created using Charat, I use this avatar maker due to it's versatility and multiple customization options. (all this images of Annie are created using Charat). I am planning to commission artist to replace character art, but they will have to wait. I want to remove any AI assets first
- the character looks like a child... are you supporting 'pdfiles'?
- I want to clarify that my game contains no s*xual content whatsoever. Both main characters (the boyfriend and girlfriend) are the same age and are above the legal age of consent. While I live in Asia, I strongly oppose 'pdfilia' and have no intention of including any inappropriate or s*xualized content involving minors in my game.
Also, just to clarify, the only reason her clothes droop to the side like that is to emphasize that she’s a zombie, she has trouble wearing clothes properly because of her condition. (ㆆ - ㆆ) - The character's appearance is also subjective, If you see Annie as a child, I'm very sorry but it is not my intentions
- I also want to stress that I don’t intend to s*xualize any of the characters. That’s simply not the point of the game. The point of the game is to explore themes of love, empathy, emotional connection, and the sacrifices we’re willing to make for those we care about. It’s meant to be an emotional and heartfelt experience, not something exploitative.
THAT'S ALL FOR THIS POST, AGAIN, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SUPPORTING MY GAME. LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT UPDATE!

I really like your drawings! Your style is super cute!
Thank you very much! I didn't think that my drawing skill's all that great so I really appreciate it! (^▽^)
I really would love to improve just so that I can draw my own characters in the game, but without proper devices (Like a drawing tablet) or time for me to practice (Due to my job), It seems so hard for me to do (T▽T)
But in the bright side, my drawing has improved from 8 years ago (≧▽≦)
Again, Thank you very much! (^▽^)
